CONTEMPORARY
For those who appreciate modern trends, we can design and build a home that’s fully in line with your stylistic choices. Our contemporary homes,
as of 2017, focus on flat-roofs, clean lines, and using sustainable materials.
HAMPTON’S STYLE
A true example of elegance and beauty, a Hampton’s style home stands out on a neighbourhood street. It radiates warmth and cosiness, spaciousness and grandeur, while also creating a relaxing atmosphere. A Hampton’s style home is defined by a gable style roof, a large balcony, ornate fittings and fixtures, detailed staircases, and timber throughout.
NEW AMERICAN
A traditional home emitting warmth and made for growing large, happy families. They’re grand and expansive, and best suited to larger properties. Massive architectural facades are built with a mixture of brick, stone and timber, and rooflines are complex and elevated by ornate gables. New American floor plans are open and flow effortlessly throughout the home, making for easy entertaining. Kitchens are designed for large families to enjoy in impressive dining areas, often with vaulted ceilings and wide windows overlooking the backyard.
QUEENSLANDER WITH OUTDOOR LIVING
A true-blue Aussie style abode that never gets old. The Queenslander is defined by a raised bottom level, allowing the building to float effortlessly above street level. This creates a cool interior, a must in the state’s hot and humid weather. A classic Australian veranda is also prominent from the exterior, and made for families to enjoy throughout the year in the summer shade. We take inspiration from the traditional Ashgrovian style, and update it for a contemporary family’s need for extra space. We achieve this by raising and building underneath the structure, which provides additional rooms for living and a garage. We build with modern, sustainable materials that keep the heat out, and improve energy efficiency.
CANADIAN/ALPINE/MODERN COLONIAL
A naturalistic, chalet-style home that radiates rustic warmth. While Canadian-style homes were originally designed to keep the warmth in, we’ve adapted this style to suit the Australian market. These striking, cottage-style designs use Australian materials that keep the heat out, while still emanating a homely, alpine aesthetic. Defined by an open mezzanine, stone accents, decorative gables and large asymmetrical windows, these houses are made for enjoying views, and to be viewed in return.
